The water-borne products allow the provision of relatively high cooling effects compared to conventional air-borne venilation systems, without simultaneously causing draughts in the occupied zone. Many of the water-borne indoor climate system can moreover be adapted to individual requirements.
Lindab offers a complete range of indoor climate solutions which, apart from the waterborne climate systems, also include a large range of air-borne indoor climate systems. In combination, or seperately, the two product areas create the optimum conditions for an indoor climate solution, customized according to the current requirements and desires for comfort.

Passive Beams
Lindab's active beams are based on the induction principle. Ventilation air is released through a gap into a diverging zone, thereby creating a low static pressure. This low pressure results in the warm room air being drawn to the ventilation air through the batteries. The quantity of the warm room air is 4 - 5 times greater than the ventilation air. Lindab waterborne system require minimal maintenance and secures the best ondoor climate.
Lindab offers two different types of passive chilled beams - panels and battery beams. The panels use a high share of radiation cooling which means low velocity in the occupied zone. This is a quiet, draught free and economical way of cooling. Depending on model, the beams be mounted either recessed in the ceiling or free hanging.
