Epoxy "powder coated" ductwork has become much more popular than conventional PVC / PVS coated material. The baked-on finish combines a zinc rich epoxy base coat with a polyester top coat. The epoxy base coat provides superior chemical resistance equal to, or better than PVC, and the polyester top coat helps protects the base coat.
