WORK LOAD LIMITS
Gripple hangers are a quick and easy way to suspend static loads.  Gripple can reduce installation time by up to 6 times compared to threaded rod, chain, hanger strap, or other conventional hanging systems.  They incorporate a length of pre-cut cable with a pre-fabricated end fixing for maximum speed, efficiency and safety.  There are numerous end fixings for practically every conceived application.  Gripple hangers are more aesthetically pleasing than regular threaded rod and Gripple is suitable (tested) for SEISMIC bracing.

There are four Gripple Seismic cable bracing kit sizes available, each with iys owm Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD), selection of cable lengths, pre-attached end fittings, and bracket.  The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association (SMACNA) has verified that Gripple Seismic Cable Bracing Systems are an acceptable alternative for seismic hanger bracing in strict accordance with the ANSI / SMACNA Seismic Restraint Manual - Guidelines for Mechanical Systems.

Gripple Seismic Cable Bracing Systems are specifically designed and engineered to brace and secure suspended nonstructural equipment such as VAV boxes, fans, unit heaters, small in-line pumps, etc...

Gripple Hangers are available in 5 different load rated sizes.  Each size is designed to carry a specific weight range and has a designated work load limit (WLL).  Standard lengths range from 5 - 30ft (custom lengths availavle on request).

Gripple hangers are manufactured to ISO 9002 Standards and are independently tested & certified by the following agencies: UL, SMACNA, CSA and ETL Intertek.
